Multimedia editor The York Daily Record/Sunday News is hiring a multimedia content creator and web manager to handle digital and print production for a series of platforms within the Digital First Media family.
We need an experienced journalist with a passion for fast-paced online news, and yet understands print obligations.
We need a morning person who is ready to hit the ground running as soon as you step foot in the newsroom.
You will:
-- Gather, curate and create online content for an intense morning web shift.
-- Collaborate with stakeholders in every part of the newsroom, as well as sister properties.
-- Work in a diverse field of digital platforms, social media engagement tools, blogging and multimedia production tools -- video, phone and digital cameras.
-- Write and report as needed.
-- Handle breaking news as needed.
-- Print production for several newsroom publications.
