Regional Project ManagerAbout the jobRHI Magnesita has an amazing opportunity for a Regional CAPEX Project Manager!Are you a leader who loves overseeing large industry CAPEX projects? Do you enjoy working on a global scale? Want to work for the global leading supplier of high-grade refractory products, systems, and services? If yes, this position is for you!This is a newly created role that will report to the Head of Plant Technology & Project Execution and have a dotted line to the Head of Operations in North America.
This role will be a hybrid role, working from the York, PA office 50-70% of the time and the rest of the time working from home or traveling.
The Regional Project Manager will travel both domestically and internationally with about a 20% international travel time.
The scope of this position is split in two parts:
Part one is to manage within the line function (Global Engineering & Project Execution Team) the CAPEX-project portfolio of the region and part two is to also run key projects of Operations as a Project manager.
The Regional Project Manager's tasks will include:
Knowledge Demands to the role of CAPEX project portfolio ManagerKeeping overview over the investment projects of the region, including guidance of the respective project managers and control of proper execution and progress reportingPromoting and giving trainings on the project management following the RHIM Project Execution Guideline; same to the organization in general but mainly as teaching for starting projectsParticipating in the budgeting process, which includes the gathering and evaluation of the project proposalsWorking closely with the line function as representative of the region regarding budgeting and on monthly progress reportingLeading a group of PM-specialists as direct reports in the line functionDemands to the role as project manager:
Scope of the PM comprises same planning phase as also execution - from concrete project idea until hand over to the plant.
Executing and delivering the project management based on the company's project and investment guidelines for the respective projects, thereby being end-responsible for the project outcome regarding defined scope, time, and costs.
Coordinate the project as day-to-day business, same within the project team as also towards the stakeholders (eg, plant, finance, etc.
).
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and best international practices in the management and implementation of projects, managing the team consisting of in-house professionals, externally hired planners and the suppliers/service providers involved.
Control the project by means of progress control (scope, time costs) and monthly forecasting.
Monitor the evolution of ring projects in terms of technical, financial, quality compliance and delivery quality, as well as deliveries contracted with external companies to ensure compliance with the scope of contracts.
Manage risks same as any deviations and problems identified during project execution, assessing impacts, reporting potential risks to those involved and seeking alternative solutions appropriate to the company's culture and strategy.
About youDo you have:
Bachelor's Degree in Maintenance Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related areasPostgraduate degree in Project Management and/or related areas is a plusExtensive experience and experience in managing large projects in industry.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
