Welding Engineer

Our Manufacturing Engineers provide technical support to operations employees and other support functions during the manufacturing of wheeled and tracked military vehicles.
This role is specific to fabrication (welding and drilling) at our York, PA facility.
Manufacturing Engineers are the first responders and problem solvers to technical production barriers.
We are responsible for ensuring technical outcomes are consistent with established manufacturing engineering principles.
We provide guidance to the greater teams ensuring customer, company, quality, and regulatory requirements are met.
We are looking for enthusiastic Senior Manufacturing Engineers to join our fabrication staff.
In this role, you will develop teams of cross-functional support personnel to solve complex problems; mentor junior Manufacturing Engineers; and teach shop personnel on principles of safety, fixtures, and tool use.
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will interpret/develop production documentation; provide process/product knowledge to aid in the development of fixtures; assist management with developing project plans, schedules, and budgets; and implement new technologies to improve safety and efficiency within the manufacturing process.
In addition, you will analyze and interpret design specifications, technical drawings, models, and/or inspection results to ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements.
SkillsUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and equipment relevant to welding and drilling operationsKnowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and drawing standards Strong technical problem solving skills Proficient with current computer applications, MS Office, CAD programs, and modeling software Excellent written communication skills this position requires ability to create clear technical documentation of analyses, methods, results, conclusions, and recommendations.
Exceptional verbal communication skills this position requires the ability to regularly collaborate with personnel from production, design engineering, field service, management, suppliers, and the customer.
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to proactively coordinate multiple entities ExperienceExperience in a fabrication production environment Experience training / mentoring junior staff with respect to fabrication processes and tools EducationBachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Weld Engineering, or Weld Engineering Technology.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
