Senior Software Engineer - Data Acquisition

A$ A' A' ?Senior Data Acquisition Engineer will craft and develop supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems used for product testing under the jurisdiction of the Test Lab.
Perform standard software engineering assignments usually representing a significant portion of a larger project.
This includes software development of automated computer systems that consist of system control, data collection, data storage, and data retrieval.
Guide the programming upgrades to the current testing capabilities including the development of software requirements.
Support the lab calibration team for instrumentation used on the product and test facilities.
This includes computer programming to support automated calibrations and automated processing of required calibration records.
A cents EUR cents Provide computer programming to maintain and upgrade existing systems and programs to support effective and accurate testing processes at the JADEC Test LabA cents EUR cents Participate in Data Acquisition team discussions and connect with Test Lab client group members to develop software requirement specificationsA cents EUR cents Work with other software developers internally and externally to improve our abilitiesA cents EUR cents Conceptually craft SCADA system hardware including any required sensors, instrumentation, computers, peripherals, and data acquisition devicesA cents EUR cents Deploy SCADA software as the need arises including testing and debuggingA cents EUR cents Maintain all software using software version controlA cents EUR cents Provide technical support and training to Test Lab client groups regarding Test Lab SCADA systemsA cents EUR cents Work with Test Lab Management, Test Engineers and Test Technicians to meet client testing needs and scheduleA cents EUR cents Support timely calibrations on various sensors, instrumentation, and measuring devicesA cents EUR cents Improve and assist with the operations of lab computers, including implementation of new operating systems, refresh of computers at end of cycle, and troubleshooting of equipmentA cents EUR cents Demonstrate preferred JCI behaviors and carry out to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
