WRA is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer Intern in our Mechanicsburg or York PA offices to work on PennDOT or PA Turnpike projects in central and eastern Pennsylvania.
Some field work will occur.
A car is required for this position.
Interns will receive training in preparing designs and contract documents for roadway and bridge projects, including highway and traffic design, quantities and contract document development.
Requirements:
Current enrollment in Civil Engineering bachelor or master program Experience with a variety of roadway modeling software particularly Inroads a plusHands-on experience with MicroStation software a plusExceptional communication and organizational skillsPositive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with othersWillingness to take on new challenges and learn more about the field

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
