Geotechnical Assistant Staff Project Manager
What You'll Do Primarily involved with assisting staff with management of engineering/construction inspection projects Responsibilities include assisting with preparation of reports, proposals, and invoicing Assist with management of project progress with respect to budget and collection efforts.
Additional responsibilites include business development with a focus on maintaining regular client contacts Other duties may include assisting with or performing the following with limited supervision:
Performing boring layouts Preparing drilling packages and obtaining utility clearances Perform research on local geologic history Assisting with drill rig supervision and rig access issues Performing in-situ testing Classifying soils Determining and/or performing appropriate laboratory tests Geotechnical Analysis and calculations Assisting with preparing geotechnical engineering reports and proposals What We're Looking For BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university; MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred, other similar engineering degrees considered if program is ABET accredited 0-2 years of related experience Engineer in Training (EIT) license would go a long way Who We AreFounded in 1988, Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is a leader in geotechnical, construction materials, environmental, and facilities engineering.
