Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineer About the jobRHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic hands-on Electrical Engineer to work out of our York, PA Plant.
The Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing the electrical and controls portion of projects to specify, design, install, and upgrade equipment to be used in the manufacturing facility.
Projects may include power distribution, controls circuits, automation, and programming.
This position will also be responsible for providing technical and hands-on assistance to the maintenance and production departments to maintain and improve our manufacturing equipment.
The Electrical Engineer's tasks include:
Participating Electrical DesignWorking with stakeholders to develop project solutions, specifications, scopes, and estimatesIndustrial electrical systems including sizing and circuit protectionMotor control systemsControl systems incorporating programmable logic controllers, HMIs, hard-wired circuits, process sensors, actuators, and other control devicesControl panels Automated equipmentProgrammingPLC - ladder logic, sequential charts, and structured textHMI - graphics and scriptingPC configuration and support, including networking and industrial communicationsProject Management Responsible for project organization, budgets, timelines, and reportingObtain bids for equipment and installationDirect installation and start-up tasksProject commissioningProject documentationTechnical SupportProviding technical support to maintain and improve production operationsAssisting maintenance professionals with troubleshooting equipment problemsAbout youDo you have:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required5
years of experience in industrial electrical engineeringProven ability to understand and develop electrical circuit drawings and schematicsExperience with AutoCAD softwareHands-on experience in industrial electrical and technical supportPLC and HMI programming experienceProject design and project management experienceExperience with techniques of electrical system construction and installationWhat we bring to the tableWe are the acknowledged industry leader in innovative technology.
