ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides employment and career supports and opportunities by creating, implementing, and monitoring the workforce development program.
Demonstrates a high internal drive for developing relationships with educational institutions, certification programs, community resources, and referral pipelines for the purpose of recruitment and professional development opportunities across professions Proactively reaches out to higher education sources to secure students for internship and externship placement within the organization.
Collaborates with clinical leadership to provide administrative support in application and maintenance of residency students Serves as primary contact within the HR Department for internship/externship sources:
Works with supervisor to schedule interviews with students; Finalizes student agreements with supervisors; Follows student placement, promoting success of placement and an effective evaluation process with the supervisor.
Ensures contract or formalized agreement with universities are up-to-date and current.
Supports HR team with recruitment efforts such as:
interviewing, attending job fairs and community events, maintains and updates interviewing guides; attends recruitment strategy meetings, and reviews recruitment metrics to promote candidate sourcing.
Develops a network of community contacts to both support the training and certification needs of existing personnel as well as for potential recruitment opportunities.
Assists with career guidance and exploration of opportunities, including but not limited to collaborating with entities such as Career Link, WEPA, and Tech Centro Assists staff in navigation of tuition reimbursement opportunities and scholarship programs.
Create career development and training materials and resources to support Employee Coach and leadership to support employees seeking internal growth opportunities.
Track, maintain, and report out on data inclusive of achievements such as certifications, promotions, and fulfilled growth opportunities.
Attend internal and external meetings and trainings, as the position requires while maintaining accessibility to all staff to promote and support professional development.
Travel as needed to all work sites, job fairs, and community events.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related Human Services field and/or equivalent work experience in the healthcare industry or related industry.
Experience with developing collaborative partnerships required Experience working with diverse populations and professions Experience presenting trainings to professionals Excellent time management and organization skills when dealing with multiple employees simultaneously Knowledge of computer software applications (Microsoft Office Applications, others) Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation as it relates to correspondence necessary to perform essential job functions Knowledge of basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures necessary to perform essential job functions Excellent customer service skills Skill in operating office equipment Ability to critically think which means the ability to think clearly and rationally about what to do or what to believe; understand logical connections between ideas; and identify, construct, and evaluate arguments Ability to set positive examples for team members through exceptional work performance including adherence to company policies and processes.
Ability to work in, and respond appropriately to a demanding environment including crisis situations Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information Ability to communicate well and in a caring and supportive manner with individuals of all backgrounds.

Ability to travel as needed to perform all essential functions of this position.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
