Job DetailsJob LocationYork address - York, PADescriptionThe Per-Diem Support DSP position provides support to TLC's residential programs.
Scheduled a flat rate to be on-call at the assigned hours, Per-Diem DSPS will be assigned in hours shifts when needed by TLC management, at a rate of $18 per hour, with the expectation of arrival within one hour.
Per Diem DSPs will be trained in all homes within TLC.
The schedule for Per-Diem DSPs to be available is as follows:
Monday- 12AM-8AM; 4PM-11:
59PM Tuesday- 12AM-8AM; 4PM-11:
59PMWednesday- 12AM-8AM; 4PM-11:
59PM Thursday- 12AM-8AM; 4PM-11:
59PMFriday- 12AM-8AM; 4PM-11:
59PM Saturday- 12AM-11:
59PMSunday- 12AM-11:
59PMThe Direct Support Professional provides hands on direct service to people with intellectual disabilities.
They are responsible for carrying out the day to day duties necessary for the residential program to operate smoothly and to implement services in a manner consistent with the agency's mission and philosophies.
The key to this position is flexibility and dependability; there may be some weeks where the Per-Diem is never called into hours and only paid their flat rate, while there may be other weeks where they may be called into hours multiple times at the higher rate.
While highly unlikely, if called into hours over 40 hours, Per Diem DSPs will be eligible for overtime.
Per Diem DSPs are restricted from picking up regularly scheduled shifts from the TLC job board.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
