Summary -Voith US Inc.
is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to help support the Human Resources department.
As part of our Global Business Service (GBS) team, the individual will provide HR Administrative support throughout the various departments to ensure delivery of effective and efficient services to our internal customers.
This role will support recruiting and retention efforts, training, and development coordination, and provide additional support to the various departments within the Global Business Service team as needed.
Responsibilities -Learning and Development:
Administer regular Voith course offerings for North America, including but not limited to; determining date(s), choosing vendors, and coordinating with them, prepare agreements, creating purchase requisitions, scheduling classes in the Learning Management System (LMS), advertising the classes, communicating with registrants, auditing classes, taking attendance, assessing survey results, verifying invoices, and preparing the inter-billing.
Consult and advise individual Voith North American divisions and/or individual employees on Learning and Development courses.
Conduct needs analyses with the business stakeholders and translate findings into learning objectives and finding appropriate solutionsRecruiting:
Responsible for the recruitment process of assigned open positions, including but not limited to; collaboration with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings, screen resumes, conduct phone screens, coordinate in-person interviews between candidates and managers, preparation of recruitment materials, and posting to appropriate job boards.
Create and deliver offer letters to selected candidates Ensure required pre-employment paperwork has been received and processed for all newly hired employees Administer pre-employment activities such as background checks, drug screenings, physicals, etc.
