Primary Responsibility:
You will be the first point of contact for Team Members and third parties relating to HR administrative matters.
This is an Hourly non-exempt position starting at $21 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Assists in Payroll administration.
Works collectively with other HR Team members to maintain and update physical and digital employee records.
Coordinates benefit and leave administration.
Coordinates the monthly random drug screen program.
Creates performance improvement plans and corrective action notices and aids in administering them and tracking their completion.
Handles all Team Member or third-party queries, written or verbal, with the utmost confidentiality.
Fosters an environment of positive employee relations and promotes an open-door policy.
Administers the Separation function including, exit interviews, return of company property, separation letter, and separation meetings with team members.
Assist with performance management and employee relations.
Collaborate with the HR team on various HR Disciplines Updates the training system in Paycor and monitors compliance.
Assist with various day-to-day tasks of the HR Department.
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Associate degree in human resources or related field preferred.
HR certification preferred.
Two (2) to Four (4) years of hands-on experience working with multiple Human Resource disciplines, including Time Keeping, Separations, Benefits and Leave Administration, Performance Management, Training & Development, and Employee Relations Experience using HRIS and Payroll systems (preferred, Paycor) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook Demonstrates proficient knowledge of HR and best practices.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
Demonstrates business acumen, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving ability.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in an effective, positive manner with executives, managers, and individual contributors in a team environment.
Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization with diplomacy and tact.
Demonstrates superior data entry, organizational, time management and follow up skills.
Must be team oriented, possess a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with others to achieve goals in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
