Your Tasks and
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Production Team Lead will be responsible for the oversight of assembly and packaging areas along with the operators in those functions.
The schedule for this position will be 7:
00am - 3:
30pm Monday through Friday but will require flexibility as needed.
Monitor and control Production Staff attendance.
Supervise assembly and production staff and daily activities through those teams leads.
Administrate spare labor and coordinate with Production Plan and with Support and Maintenance Lead.
Ensure spare labor is used.
Advise Maintenance Lead of Equipment problems and maintenance needs straight away to ensure quick remedy is taken in order to defend the production plan.
Maintain factory cleanliness and orderliness.
Ensuring 6S (Sweep, Shine, Signage, Standardize and Sustain) standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Perform a daily inspection.
(MBWA Management by walkabout) of all production lines and their equipment.
Record observations and take measures that are called for.
Ensure production positions and production support positions have components from the warehouse on time at the place - what is needed, where it is needed, when it is needed.
Managing, evaluating, and reporting on key performance indicators of assembly productivity and organization as called for from the Operations Manager.
Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
Attend required meetings.
Coordinating and requesting maintenance of equipment.
Communicating and coordinating with other departments.

Required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving skills.
