Abacus Staffing has immediate openings for Forklift Operators with one of its major distribution partners in York, PA!
These are full-time, long-term, temp-to-perm opportunities with excellent prospects for direct hire.
Key features of this opportunity:
Competitive salary starting at $10.00/hour to start with a $1.70/hour increase after completing training ($0.50/hour shift differential for 2nd or 3rd Shifts).
Weekends and overtime readily available.
Opportunities are long-term, with the potential to go direct hire with good attendance, and performance.
Immediate benefits meeting ACA guidelines.
Work hours are:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM-6:00 AM (Monday-Thursday); 9:00 PM-6:00 AM (Sunday)
Employees are expected to perform a variety of warehouse tasks using the forklift including order selection, replenishment, loading, unloading, and material handling.
Candidates must be able to start training immediately.
We are seeking candidates with recent experience (within the last 3-6 months) operating Forklifts in a high-volume, fast-paced, production driven environment. Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of prior warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing experience with an excellent safety record.
