Special Education Teacher - PT York Autism Disorder Academy ESY
Special Education Teacher needed for Extended School Year at a specialized Autism School. Four days a week for a six weeks. Could be potential to turn into FT employment.
Using interactive lessons, differentiated instruction and software based curriculum to educated school aged youth in accordance to the standards set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Complete trainings and professional development and other duties as assigned. Part-time.
Principal Results Expected:
Proficiency in educating school aged youth and maintaining positive rapport with students, families, staff, administration and referral sources.
Profile:
Ability to plan and implement highly interactive multi-disciplinary lessons. Computer skills and interactive technology. Ability to provide highly structured and timely lessons. Ability to monitor and motivate a group of students while keeping them physically and emotionally safe.
Experience:
PA teaching Certification required- Special Education Certification
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
